Basil Salad Recipe
I don't know about you but my favorite salad is a salad that is thrown together with any ingredients you can find (that look tasty of course). When the ingredients come straight from the farm it's even better!
This summer our go to herb has been basil for two reasons.
1. We have (what feels like) billions of basil plants
2. Keith believes it gives him energy (he even ate basil while driving 18 hours to Florida this summer)
Therefore, instead of spinich, we made a salad this past weekend with basil as the main ingredient. Add as much or as little of each of the following ingredients and toss together.
Everhart Farm's Basil Salad
Monzerella cheese
Basil
1 Taxi tomatos
1 Regular tomatos
1 Cucumber
3 cloves or garlic
Oil to taste
Optional: Balsamic Vinigrette
